Peptides of formula (I): (where Tyr may be replaced by the Phe and Leu7 may be replaced by Ser(But), Asp(OBnt), Glu(OBut), Lys(Boc) or Orn(Boc)), are used in the treatment of male and female sterility of hypothalamic or hypophysaric origin. They are also useful in determining the moment of ovulation. (I) have greater activity than similar known peptides, and may be administered orally or intranasally as well as parenterally. |
