titleOfInvention HETEROGENEOUS PHASE SYNTHESIS OF PHOSPHORAMIDES AND THIOPHOSPHORAMIDES
abstract Phosphoramide or thiophosphoramide of formula (I) (where R1, R2 = H, lower alkyl; R3 = lower alkyl; X = O, S; m = 0 or 1) is prepd. by reacting (a) an aq. phase contg. alkaline carbonate and aziridine (III) with (b) an organic phase contg. a cpd. (II) of formula X = P R3 m Cl (3-m) aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons. Heterogenous phase reaction avoids hydrolysis of cpd. (II) and enables higher temp. and lower reaction times to be used.
