vincamine derivs. of formula (I) and their acid-addn. salts are new: (where R1 is H or OH; R2 singly is OH; or R1+R2 may be an additional bond; R3 and R4 are H or Me; R5 is 1-4 C alkyl). Pref. 2-oxopropyl desoxyvincaminate, 2-oxopropyl apovincaminate and their oxalates, and compsns. of (I) with ascorbic acid and its salts, and with the equimolar complexes of ascorbic acid with nicotinamide or with pyridoxine, have use in treating cardiocirculatory and cerebrovascular insufficiencies. |
