| abstract | The system, for gas such as butane, has a main reservoir connected at the top to user equipment by a pipe incorporating a main reducer valve and constituting the main distribution circuit. A secondary distribution circuit supplies user equipment with gaseous butane when ambient temperature no longer allows the reservoir to do so. The feed port of a vaporiser is regulated by a valve dependent on the liquid level in the vaporiser, and liquid butane is delivered from the reservoir base to the vaporiser by a hydro-pneumatic pumpin set mounted between two gas sources at different pressures. A regulator unit brings the secondary circuit into use when the pressure in the first circuit falls below a predetermined value. |
