titleOfInvention | Deodorising cosmetic compsn - contains a plant extract consisting mainly of agaricic acid |
abstract | The cosmetic contains an extract of a fungus of the genus Polyporacen (I). (I) is specific against these odour-producing bacteria without the equilibrium existing between those bacteria normally extant on skin (e.g. Saprophytes). In this, it is different to known astringents/deodorants/antimicrobials. The cosmetic is useful for topical application to armpits, inguinal and interdigital areas. (I) may be extracted from e. g. Ungulina Officinalis Fomerntaria, Nigricans, Marginata. |
