titleOfInvention | Biochemical treatment of textiles with vitamin/cystine compns. - giving improved vitamin transfer to skin and cosmetological props. |
abstract | In a process for treating textile articles with a biochemical substance using a compsn. contg. a vitamin, esp. vitamin P. followed by thermosetting the compsn. the improvement consists in also treating the article with a compsn. contg. cystine or its deriv. Used for treating fibres, filaments, textile webs in general and polyamide knitted stockings in partic. The treated fabrics facilitate cutaneous transfer of vitamin P in dry skins and the cystine (derivs) eliminate the adverse effects of antistaticity of textile materials in contact with the skin. The activity of the compsn. in the textile can be revived by washing the articles in a bath contg. cystine or its derivs. The treated fabrics also have cosmetological props. |
