titleOfInvention | Antifungal plant-protection agents - contg. cpds. which release phosphorus acid (e.g. inorganic phosphites) |
abstract | Fungicidal agents for combatting fungal diseases in plants contain as active ingredient at least one organic or inorganic cpd. with releases phosphorous acid P(OH)3 . Pref. active ingredients are inorganic phosphite salts and phosphite salts of nitrogenous bases, esp. primary(acid) sodium phosphite, calcium phosphite, secondary (neutral) copper phosphite, aluminium phosphite, primary (acidic) ammonium phosphite, or a phosphite salt of imidazole, cyclohexylamine opt. substd. aniline, or morpholine. Pref. agents contain a combination of a water-soluble phosphite and a poorly water-soluble metal phosphite. The agents are particularly suitable for prophylactic and also curative use against fungal (esp. phycomycetes) infections of a wide variety of plants. Suitable formulations include wettable powders, soluble powders, dusts, granulates, solns. emulsifiable concentrates, emulsions, suspensions and aerosols, which may additionally contain a wide-range of other fungicides. The concentration of phosphorus acid- releasing active ingredients in liq. formulations is generally 0.01-5 g/1. |
