The composition may be in the form of a 2 component pack and may be used for bonding plastics to each other or to metals or for mending glass or china or fingernails. The compositions exemplified contain glycidylmethacrylate or 3,4-epoxybutyl methacrylate, one or more of polymethylmethacrylate, polyethylmethacrylate, a copolymer of methyl- and ethylmethacylate and silica; the dimethacrylate of ethylene glycol, di- or tri-ethyleneglycol or bisphenol A; benzoyl peroxide; N,N-bis-(hydroxyethyl)- paratoluidine or dimethylaniline either t-butylhydroxytoluene or hydroquinone; and methyl methacrylate in one example. |
