abstract The valve and tap is intended for application to gas reservoirs containing liquefied petroleum gas, and the tap body encloses a sliding needle valve restricted in movement by the protrusion of a hollow gas conducting screw. The screw extremity locates the regulating valve which is externally adjustable, ensuring stabilised pressure of gas flow. The hollow screw carries a threaded valve which is normally closed. This valve is controlled by a diaphragm covered by a cap on the housing end, this cap containing a spring to load the diaphragm.
