titleOfInvention | Animal manure recycle as feed supplement - after sepn and removal of waste by slurrying/sepg. system |
abstract | Animal manure is recycled for use as a feed supplement using a multistage slurry mixer/separator process, in which slurrying liquid is derived by back-cycling from a subsequent separator, in order to economise use of water, and to produce a concn. of protein colloid (in the liquid from the first separator) such that protein may readily be recovered, e.g. by evapn. to provide supplementary protein. The slurry mixers comprise tanks with impellers with provision for removal of stones etc. which settle out. The separators are 2-stage, with a rotary drum sieve above an inclined screen; fresh water is added to wash the screen of the 3rd separator of a 3-stage process. |
