| abstract | Vertical cylindrical water softener comprising a cylindrical shell with end plates each with an access part which can be closed either as a plain plug or by a brine regeneration programmer. Conversion forms a manual regeneration softener, fitted with two plugs is effected by replacing one plug with a proerammer, simply by screwing the plug out and the programmer in, and putting a pressure gauge on the shell connection which previously served as the water inlet. The simplicity of the system makes the softener suitable for a wide range of elementary applications. |
