abstract An adhesive product, made in the form of sticks or crayons, consists of a water sol. or dispersible adhesive distributed in a skeleton consisting of an aq. agar-agar gel, the water content being 25-80% contg. 1-5% agar-agar and 0-2% of hydroxypropylcellulose. The product also contains pref. 0-15% of a plasticiser, 0.01-0.3% of a preserving agent, pref. sorbic acid, K. sorbate, laurylpentachlorophenol, m-p-cresol on their substitution derivs. 0-50% mineral fillers, such as kaolin, CaSO4, BaSO4, MgSO4 TiO2, ZnO, CaCO3, dolomite or colloidal SiO2 are pref. present.
