Pulp particles comprising 50-90 wt.% mica particles and 50-10% polyheterocylic N-contg. deriv. (I) or its precursor, the latter forming a continuous phase in which the mica particles are dispersed. The particles are used for producing synthetic paper using 20-95% of the particles and 80-5% of heat-stable polymer fibres. The paper is used for insulating electrical equipments and is heat resistant, has good impregnation props. and good retention of the mica particles. (I) may be arom. polyamide-imide, polyamide-imidazoles, polyimides etc. |
