titleOfInvention | Flexible polyurethane foam catalyst - contg tin octoate hydroxypropylimidazole and triethylene diamine diformate |
abstract | A flexible polyurethane foam is prepd. by reacting (1) a polyalkylene ether polyol contg. >=2 alkanol gps. (2) water (3) a polyisocyanate, (4) triethylenediamine (5) tin octoate; catalysing the reaction with tin octoate, hydroxypropylimidazole (a) and triethylenediamine diformate (b) concn. of (a) being is not > conc. of (b); using 1.5-2 pts. water per 100 pts. polyol, and obtaining a foam of 32-64 kg/m3 density. The catalyst compsn. is less sensitive to variations in proportions than prior art catalysts, and gives foams with good physical properties. |
