abstract The mixtures contain mono- or biCal phosphate granules having a particle size of 0.5-2 mm capable of absorbing 8-10 wt % of liquid. They are prepd. e.g. by mixing the phosphate granules with powdered trace elements and vitamins and, after 2 mins. adding a paste or soln. contg. flavourings such as molasses, yeast autolysate or soya lecithin. If desired 0.5% liquid sorbitol may be added to improve penetration into the granules and fixing of the additives on the granules.
