titleOfInvention | Phosphorylthio acetohydrazides - having acaricidal activity |
abstract | Compounds of formula (I): where R1, R2 and R3 are 1-5C alkyl; X = O or S. Acaricides. 23.6 g. (III) (Hal1 = Hal2 = Cl) in 5 vols. of THF were added at 0 degree C to 20.8 g. (II) (R3 = C2H5), 21.3 g. triethylamine and 10 vols. THF. The mixture was stirred for 15 hours at ambient temperature, filtered and the filtrate evaporated to gie 37 g. (IV) (Hal1 = Cl; R3 = Et). 30 g. This in 10 vols. DMF were treated with 34 g. (V) (Z = NH4; R1 = R2 = C2H5, X = O). The mixture was heated at 70 degrees for 5 hours then poured into 10 vols. ice and water. The product was extracted with chloroform, washed, dried and evaporated. The residue was recrystallised from ether to give 27.2 g. 2-(diethoxyphosphorylthio)-2'-ethoxycarbonylacetohydrazide, m.pt. 102 degrees C. |
