Specific cpds. include trans beta-nitro 4-fluoro and 3,4,5-trimethoxy styrene, trans 2-nitro-1-(alpha-naphthyl)ethylene, trans 2-nitro-2-methyl-1-(beta-naphthyl)ethylene, trans beta-nitro 4-allyloxy 4-propoxy, 3-methyl-4-isopropyl and 2,6-dinitro-3-methyl-4-isopropyl styrenes.
