titleOfInvention | O, o-dialkyl s-(alkoxycarbonylmethylthiomethyl) - thiophosphates - with acaricidal and insecticidal activity |
abstract | Cpds. of formula (where R1,R2 = alkyl; and m = 0, 1 or 2). The cpds. are acaricides and insecticides, and are prepd. by reacting an ammonium or alkali metal salt of an O, O-dialkylthiophosphoric acid with an alkyl halothiomethyl-thioacetate. The cpd. (R1 = Et; R2 = Me; m = 0) is 10 times as active as dicofol against adult Tetranychus urticae on bean leaves. The cpds. are also active (tests are quoted) against aphids, cockroaches, fruit flies and weevils. |
