titleOfInvention Epoxy coatings for electro-deposition
abstract An electrically conducting substrate is coated with an epoxy cpd. by applying an electric current between an anode and a cathode which are in contact with an aq. dispersion of a preparation in which the main resinous component is an ungelled reaction product of (A) an epoxy cpd. and (B) a boric acid ester which is substituted by is not 1 amino. An adherent coating of this preparation is deposited on the cathode. The coatings adhere firmly and are resistant to corrosion and discolouration.
