Microbicidal compns. contng. 2-200 parts (pref. 10 parts) of (I) a microbicide selected from phenols, 3,4,4'-trichlorocarbanilide, bromosalicylanilides and fluorosalicylanilides and (II) 1 part of an organic mercury salt e.g phenylmercuric acetate, nitrate and borate, chloromethoxypropyl-mercuric acetate, nitrate and borate and nitro-mersol. The compns. may be used in antiseptics, shampoos, for skin treatment before surgical operations, dermatological conditions and prophylaxis in general. |
