Colouring agents are 1-aryl substituted 3-amino pyrazolines of formula:- where X is NH2, OH and R is H, CH3, OCH3, OEt or -COOet. Pref. cpds. are the 1-(4'-aminophenyl) and 1-(4'-hydroxyphenyl)-3-amino pyrazolines used as their hydrochlorides. Fixatives may be amino or hydroxy pyrazolones or acyl/aryl acetic acid derivs. Good resistance to light, washing and rubbing. Readily removed with reducing agents. |
