Cosmetic compns. for the treatment of hair and contain palmitic acid, oleic acid, Ca linoleate, cystine and cholesterol. They are formulated as creams for the treatment of nails to prevent breakage and stimulate growth, and as lotions for the treatment of the scalp to increase hair growth. In an example a cream was prepared containing 1g palmitic acid, 1g oleic acid, 0.5g Ca linoleate, 5g cystine, 5g cholesterol, 3g eucalyptol, 1g methyl nicotinate, and 83.5g polyoxyethylene glycol stearate. |
