abstract | The invention concerns a method for converting bushes and small trees for the purpose of producing raw material for industry, and also fuel, according to which method chips which are as pure as possible are obtained from the wood, i.e. the bark and chlorophyll content of the chips is low. The object of the invention is to make available a new conversion process for production of pure chips to raw material for industry. According to the invention, the tree trunks are converted, before transport, to 5 - 30 cm pieces, they are converted to bulk material, the actual transport takes place with the wood in the form of the abovementioned bulk material, debarking takes place in a rotating drum, in which the wood sections are caused to strike against each other, which loosens the bark, the bark and chlorophyll are removed by screening and, lastly, the pure wood sections or the pure wood is chopped up. <IMAGE> |
