| abstract | The invention concerns equipment used for preparing animal feeds, comprising a container 2 in which the raw material is mixed. Arranged inside the container there is a mixer 6 for mixing the raw material. The equipment also includes a vehicle 1 on which the said container 2 is placed. To deal more economically than hitherto with those by-products from industrial processes which are suitable for animal-feed mixes, and to avoid unnecessary transportation and storage of these raw materials, which is both costly and can damage the raw material, a horizontal feed screw 7 for discharging the feed has been arranged underneath the mixer 6, extending essentially from one end of the container to the other, and near the bottom of the said container.
