titleOfInvention A method for optimizing material cycling in a chemical pulping process
abstract The invention relates to a process for optimizing material circulation in a chemical pulping process. The method comprises treating a cellulosic raw material with cooking chemicals in a cooking step wherein the lignin is at least partially dissolved in the cooking liquid phase and separated from the fibers. The lignin is separated from the cooking liquid phase. Separated lignin is used to form a treatment composition comprising up to 1% by weight of aluminum. The bleaching liquid phase is treated with a treatment composition to remove organic humic substances from the bleaching liquid. An organic slurry is formed which is used to generate energy in the chemical recovery step.
