PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING 3-METHYL-7-FLUOR-5-NITROBENZOTHIOPHENE. IT INCLUDES THE TRANSFORMATION OF 2-FLUORANILINE IN 7-FLUORISATIN BY TREATMENT WITH TRICHLOROACETALDEHIDO AND HYDROXIANILINE IN SULFURIC MEDIUM BY MEANS OF CONVENTIONAL TECHNIQUES; FOLLOWED BY THE NITRATION OF 7-FLUORISATIN AND OXIDATION OF THE FORMED PRODUCT; DIAZOTATION OF THE ANTRANILIC DERIVATIVE OBTAINED, REACTION WITH HYDROCHLORIC ACID IN THE PRESENCE OF CUPROSE CHLORIDE AND FOLLOWED WITH THIONYL CHLORIDE; TREATMENT OF ACID CHLORIDE WITH DIETHYL ETHOXYMAGNESIOMALONATE, FOLLOWED BY REACTION WITH PROPIONIC ACID IN THE PRESENCE OF SULFURIC ACID, TRANSFORMATION OF ACETOPHENONE FORMED WITH MERCAPTOACETIC ACID, AND FINALLY, CYCLING OF THE PRODUCT. THIS COMPOUND HAS PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS DUE TO ITS ACTION ON THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM. |
