PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING DERIVATIVES OF 3- (UREIDOCICLOHEXILAMINO) -PROPEN-1,2-DIOL AND ITS SALTS, OF FORMULA (I), IN WHICH AR REPRESENTS AN AROMATIC GROUP; R, R1 AND R2 CAN BE SEVERAL TYPES OF RADICALS; R3 AND R4 ARE HYDROGEN OR LOWER ALKYL; AND X IS OXYGEN OR SULFUR. IT INCLUDES THE REDUCTION REACTION OF A SCHIFF BASE, OF FORMULA (II), IN WHICH ALL THE SYMBOLS HAVE THE SAME MEANING AS IN FORMULA (I), AND THE DOUBLE CN LINK CAN ALSO BE FOUND BETWEEN THE ATOM OF NITROGEN THE OTHER ADJACENT CARBON ATOM. THE REDUCTION IS EFFECTED BY CATALYTIC HYDROGENATION OR THROUGH A HYDROGEN. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS FOR THEIR CARDIOVASCULAR PROPERTIES AND THEIR ANTIHYPERTENSIVE AND INFLUENCING EFFECTS OF THE HEART. |
