IT INCLUDES: A) REACTING AN AQUEOUS DL-LYSINE SOLUTION WITH A SUSPENSION FORMED BY A STECHIOMETRIC QUANTITY OF ACETYLSALYCILIC ACID, PURIFIED WATER, A SEQUESTRANT OF HEAVY METALS SUCH AS SODIUM EDETATE AND ORANIC ORANE METAL DISOLVENT; B) ADD METHANOL OR ETHANOL IN EXCESS TO THE REACTION MIXTURE OF A) TO CRYSTALLIZE THE DOLLYSINE MONOACEYLSALICILATE IN SOLUTION; C) CENTRIFUGE THE SOLUTION TO SEPARATE THE MOTHER WATERS FROM THE CRYSTALS; D) WASH THE GLASSES WITH METHANOL OR ETHANOL AND E) DISTILL THE WASHING WITH THE GLASSES IN A VACUUM, TO REMOVE THE RESIDUES.
