IT INCLUDES: A) REACTING PHTHALIC ANHYDRIDE WITH TERC-AMYL-BENZENE, IN THE PRESENCE OF A CATALYST, BETWEEN C60 AND C20JC, IN A BIPHASIC LIQUID, TO PRODUCE AMYL-ORTHOBENZOYL-BENZOIC-AMYLBENZOIC ACID-AMYLBENZYL-ORYLBYLBENZYL-ORYLBENZYL ACIDIC ACID , WITH SULFURIC, TO OBTAIN AMYL-2-ANTHRAQUINONE. THE CATALYST IS A MIXTURE OF BF3 AND HF IN A HF / BF3 RATIO BETWEEN 0.2 AND 1.5 AND THE BIPHASIC LIQUID IS FORMED BY THIRD-AMYLBENZENE AND A SOLVENT CHOSEN BETWEEN PROPANE AND METHYLENE CHLORIDE, IT IS INERT AND NON-MISCIBLE WITH THE MIXTURE OF HF AND BF3 OR CATALYST.
