PROCEDURE FOR THE PREPARATION OF A BIAXIAL ORIENTED SINGLE-LAYER POLYAMIDE FILM STRUCTURE, CONVENTIONALLY USED IN THE PREPARATION OF SINGLE-LAYER BLOWN NYLON FILMS. IT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING STEPS: FIRST, FROM 1 TO 50 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF A RANDOM COPOLYMER OF ETHYLENICALLY INSATURATED CARBOXYLIC ACID TO ETHYLENE ARE INTIMELY MIXED WITH 50 TO 99 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF A POLYAMIDE RESIN; SECOND, THE MIXTURE FORMED IS TAKEN TO AN EXTRUDER, WHERE THE COMPONENTS OF SAID MIXTURE ARE ADEQUATELY MIXED; AND FINALLY, THE PREPARED MIXTURE IS EXTRUDED THROUGH A NOZZLE IN ORDER TO CONFORM SAID MIXTURE INTO A SINGLE-LAYER BLOWN FILM. THE MIXTURE IN THE EXTRUDER IS KEPT AT A TEMPERATURE HIGHER THAN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE MIXTURE IN THE NOZZLE. |
