IT INCLUDES: A) IMPREGATING THE MATERIAL CONTAINING CELLULOSE WITH A SOLUTION OF AN ALKALINE METAL HYDROXIDE AND UREA; B) WASH THE MATERIAL THAT CONTAINS CELLULOSE AND IS IMPREGNATED WITH ALKALINE METAL HYDROXIDE AND UREA, UNTIL YOU OBTAIN A CONTENT OF 0.5% MASS OF ALKALINE METAL HYDROXIDE IN THE ALKALINE METAL HYDROXIDE; AND C) HEATING THE IMPREGNATED AND WASHED MATERIAL, TO OBTAIN CELLULOSE CARBAMATES. THE IMPREGNATION AND WASHING CAN BE CARRIED OUT IN A CONTINUOUS OPERATING CENTRIFUGER, IN A FILTER OR SCREEN BAND OR IN AN AGITATION BOILER CASE. THE IMPREGNATION SOLUTION CONTAINS 10 TO 30% BY MASS OF NAOH REFERRED TO DRY IMPREGNATED MATERIAL AND THE WASH SOLUTION CONTAINS 10 TO 25% BY MASS OF UREA REFERRED TO DRY IMPREGNATED MATERIAL.
