PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING DERIVATIVES OF 1,1-DIPHENYLPROPAN-1-OL, FROM FORMULA (I), IN WHICH R1, R2, R3 AND R4 MAY BE SEVERAL TYPES OF RADICALS; AND N VALE 1-5. IT CONSISTS OF THE REACTION OF A COMPOUND OF FORMULA (II), PFEFERIBLY IN THE FORM OF A QUATERNARY AMMONIUM PHENOLATE OR OF ALKALINE METAL, WITH A COMPOUND OF FORMULA X- (CH2) N-R4, IN WHICH X REPRESENTS A RADICAL ARYLSILOXYL OXYLSULPHONYL OR A HALOGEN ATOM AND THE OTHER SYMBOLS HAVE THE SAME MEANING AS IN FORMULA (I), IN THE PRESENCE OF AN ACID BINDING AGENT. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS FOR THE TREATMENT OF ENZYMOPATHIC JAUNDICE, GILBERT'S DISEASE, CUSHING'S SYNDROME AND OTHERS. |
