IN THE REACTION INERT SOLVENTS SUCH AS METHANOL, ETHANOL AND OTHERS ARE USED, ADDING A CATALYST SUCH AS POTASSIUM IODIDE. THEY HAVE PHARMACEUTICAL APPLICATIONS FOR THEIR ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY AGAINST VARIOUS PATHOGENIC ORGANISMS AND ESPECIALLY FOR THEIR EFFECT ON PATHOGENIC ORGANISMS BELONGING TO THE GRAM-POSITIVO GROUP.
