IT CONSISTS OF PRE-INFLATING THE ACRYLAMIDE POLYMER, RESULTING FROM THE REACTION OF ACRYLAMIDE OR METHACRYLAMIDE AND ACRYLIC OR METHACRYLIC ACID, OR ITS SODIUM SALT; ADD TO SAID POLYMER A CONCENTRATED SOLUTION OF GLYCIDYLTRIALQUILAMMONIUM CHLORIDE; AND CONTINUOUSLY MIX BOTH REAGENTS UNTIL THE GLYCIDYL SOLUTION IS COMPLETELY ABSORBED BY THE POLYMER. THESE COMPOSITIONS HAVE APPLICATIONS AS FLOCULANTS.
