PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING 1,4-DIHYDROPYRIDINE COMPOUNDS, IN PARTICULAR ITS ESTERS AND ITS SALTS, OF FORMULA (I), IN WHICH R4 REPRESENTS HYDROGEN OR ALKYL; X, Y, R, R2 AND R3 CAN BE SEVERAL TYPES OF RADICALS; AND N VALE 0-3. CONSISTS OF THE REACTION OF 2 MOLES OF ESTERS OF B-CETOCARBOXYL ACIDS, OF FORMULA (II), IN WHICH ALL THE SYMBOLS HAVE THE SAME MEANING AS IN FORMULA (I), WITH A MOL OF AN AMINE OF FORMULA RNH2 AND A MOL OF AN ALDEHYDE OF FORMULA XCHO, IN WHICH R ANDX ARE THE SAME AS IN FORMULA (I). THE REACTION IS CARRIED OUT IN WATER OR IN AN INERT ORGANIC SOLVENT, AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 20JC AND 150JC. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS AS CORONARY AND ANTIATEROMATIC AGENTS. |
