CONSISTS IN REACTING A METHOXYPHENACIL BROMIDE OF FORMULA (II) WITH AN ALKYLAMINE OF FORMULA H2NR TO OBTAIN NEW N-(METHOXYPHENACIL)-AMINE DERIVATIVES OF FORMULA (I) WHERE A IS OCH3 AND R REPRESENTS AN ALKYL GROUP FROM C 3 TO 8 OR A HYDROXYALKYL GROUP OF C 3 TO 8 AND THEIR ADDITION SALTS. THE REACTION IS CARRIED OUT IN THE PRESENCE OF AN INERT SOLVENT CHOSEN FROM THE SET FORMED BY ALCOHOLS FROM C 1 TO 12, CHLOROFORM, DIOXAN, TETRAHYDROFURAN AND MIXTURES OF THEM; DURING 025 TO 2 H; AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE AND THE REFLOW TEMPERATURE OF THE REACTION MEDIUM; AND AT A RATIO OF 3 MOLES OF FORMULA H2NR PER ONE MOL OF FORMULA (II). THEY ARE USED PHARMACEUTICALLY AS VASODILATOR SUBSTANCES.
