PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING BENZOFURANONES. CONSISTS IN OXIDIZING THE Z GROUP OF THE COMPOUND OF FORMULA (II) WITH AN OXIDIZING AGENT OF THE CARBONYL GROUP, SUCH AS OSMIUM TETROXIDE OR SUTENIUM TETROXIDE, IN THE PRESENCE OF SOLVENTS, SUCH AS WATER, ACETIC ACID, ACETONE , DIOXANE AND OTHERS, IN AN INERT N2 ATMOSPHERE, TO OBTAIN BENZOFURANONES OF FORMULA (I) AND/OR ACID ADDITION SALTS. WHERE: A, ADDITIONALLY SUBSTITUTED AROMATIC RING, R1, H OR ALIPHATIC REMAINDER; R2 AMINO GROUP REPLACED BY A DIVALENT HYDROCARBON REMAINDER, AND Z METHYLENE GROUP, WHICH IS OXIDIZED WITH THE HELP OF AN OXIDATION AGENT FROM THE CARBONYL GROUP. THEY ARE USED AS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY MEDICINE. |
