abstract | PROCEDURE FOR THE PREPARATION OF A C6-C18-OXYBENZENOSULPHONATE ACIL SALT, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS: FIRST, A MIXTURE OF PHENOSULPHONATE SALT AND A C2-C3 ALKANOIC ANHYDRIDE IS FORMED IN A MEDIUM CONTAINING A SUBSTANTIAL CY6-CIFA18 CARBOXY ACID OR NOT SUBSTITUTED; SECOND, THE MIXTURE IS HEATED UNDER REFLUX UP TO A TEMPERATURE INCLUDED BETWEEN 140 AND 180 DEGREES, UNTIL THE SALT PENOL-SULPHONATE REACTS TO FORM A SALT OF ACIL C2-C3-OXYBENZENOSULPHONATE; THIRD, THE TEMPERATURE OF THE MIXTURE IS RAISED TO A SUFFICIENT VALUE TO PRODUCE THE ACIDOLYSIS AND FOR THE VOLATILIZATION OF THE ALKANOIC ACID; AND FINALLY, THE C6-C18-OXYBENZENOSULFONATE ACILO SALT IS RECOVERED. |
