PROCEDURE TO PRODUCE DEXTROSE FROM STARCH CONSISTS OF CONTACTING A HYDROLYZED OF STARCH WITH IMMOBILIZED GLUCOAMYLASE UNDER SACARIFICATION CONDITIONS. THE HYDROLYZE OF STARCH USED HAS A DED OF AT LEAST 40 AND A MALTOSE CONTENT OF AT LEAST 45. THE CONTACT TIME MUST BE SUFFICIENT TO OBTAIN A PRODUCT CONTAINING AT LEAST 93 DEXTROSE. GLUCOAMINASE IS IMMOBILIZED BY ABSORPTION ON A POROUS VEHICLE OR BY ABSORPTION ON A POROUS PHENOLIC RESIN. |
