PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING PHENOLIC ESTERS AND THEIR PHYSIOLOGICALLY COMPATIBLE ACID ADDITION SALTS, OF FORMULA (I), IN WHICH R1 AND R2 ARE C3-5 ALKYL; AND R3, R4, A AND Q CAN BE SEVERAL TYPES OF RADICALS. IT CONSISTS OF THE REACTION OF A GLIOXAL OR ITS HYDRATE, OF FORMULA (II), WITH AN AMINE OF FORMULA (III), IN WHICH ALL THE SYMBOLS HAVE THE SAME MEANING THAT IN THE FORMULA (I), UNDER REDUCTION CONDITIONS, BY MEANS OF AN ALKALINE METAL BOROHYDRIDE OR CYANOBOROHYDRIDE. THE REACTION IS CARRIED OUT IN AN INERT SOLVENT, AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN C20JC AND 30JC. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS FOR THEIR ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES. |
