IT CONSISTS OF THE REACTION OF AN ALCOHOL, OF FORMULA VOH, WITH AN ACTIVATED DERIVATIVE OF AN ACID, OF FORMULA WCOL, IN WHICH V, W AND L CAN BE SEVERAL TYPES OF RADICALS. THE REACTION IS CARRIED OUT IN AN INERT ORGANIC SOLVENT, IN THE PRESENCE OF A BASE, AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN 100 C AND 170 C. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS TO INHIBIT THE SECRETION OF GASTRIC ACID.
