PROCEDURE FOR THE OBTAINING OF SULFONILUREAS AND ITS PHYSIOLOGICALLY COMPATIBLE SALTS OF FORMULA (I), IN WHICH Y IS ALCOHYLENE C <-; R IS ALCOHYL C <-; R IS HYDROGEN, CHLORINE OR METHYL; AND R MAY BE ONE OF SEVERAL RADICALS. IT CONSISTS OF THE REACTION OF INTRODUCTION OF THE RADICAL OF FORMULA (II), IN BENZOSULFONILUREAS OF FORMULA (III), IN WHICH Y, R, R AND R HAVE THE SAME MEANING AS IN FORMULA (I), EVENTUALLY IN A STEPPED WAY. THE ACILATION REACTION IS CARRIED OUT WITH REACTIVE DERIVATIVES OF THE CORRESPONDING ACIDS, IN A SOLVENT INERT TO THE ROOM TEMPERATURE OR HIGHER. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS FOR THEIR HYPOGLYCEMIC PROPERTIES. |
