A CHLORINE-3 PIRIDAZINE IS CONVENIENTLY REPLACED WITH AN AMINE OF FORMULA (II), WHERE IT REPRESENTS A RIGHT OR BRANCHED ALKYLENE GROUP THAT HAS 2 TO 5 ATOMS OF CARBON AND X REPRESENTS HYDROGEN OR ONE GROUP OF 4-AQUIN. OF CARBON, PERFORMING THE ABOVE REACTION IN THE BREAST OF A SOLVENT SUCH AS AN ALCOHOL AT A TEMPERATURE NEAR THE TEMPERATURE OF BOILING OF THE SOLVENT AND IN THE PRESENCE OF A HYDRACIDE ACCEPTOR. THEY ARE USED AS ACTIVE COMPOUNDS ON THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM.
