PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING POLYAMIDE MEMBRANES WITHOUT SKIN, LICUOPHILIC AND INSOLUBLE IN ALCOHOL. IT CONSISTS IN DISSOLVING IN A POLYAMIDE SOLVENT 0.01-5% OF A POLYAMIDE RESIN INSOLUBLE IN ALCOHOL, WHICH HAS A CH:NHCO RATIO BETWEEN 7:1 AND 12:1; INDUCE NUCLEATION BY CONTROLLED ADDITION OF A NON-SOLVENT OF THE POLYAMIDE RESIN; SPREAD THE SOLUTION ON A SUBSTRATE; COOL THE SOLUTION FILM TO GEL TEMPERATURE; CONTACT AND DILUTE THE FILM WITH A NON-SOLVENT LIQUID; WASH AND DRY THE RESULTING MEMBRANE. THESE MEMBRANES HAVE APPLICATIONS AS FILTRATION MEANS TO REMOVE SUSPENDED PARTICLES AND MICROORGANISMS FROM FLUIDS. |
