PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING 1-SULFO-2-OXOAZETIDINE DERIVATIVES, FROM FORMULA (I), IN WHICH R IS AN AMINO GROUP THAT MAY BE ACCELED OR PROTECTED; AND X IS HYDROGEN OR METHOXY. IT CONSISTS OF THE SULFONATION REACTION OF A 1-THIRD-BUTYL- OR ISOPROPYLSILIL DERIVATIVE OF A COMPOUND OF FORMULA (II), IN WHICH R IS AN AMINO GROUP THAT IS ACCYLATED OR PROTECTED AND X IS HYDROGEN OR METOXY, THROUGH ANHYD-TREATMENT WITH ANHYD-TREATMENT SULFURICO OR ONE OF ITS REACTIVE DERIVATIVES, IN AN INERT SOLVENT, AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN -78 C AND 80 C. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS FOR THEIR ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITIES AND AS INHIBITORS OF ~ J-LACTAMASE. |
