PROCEDURE FOR THE ELIMINATION OF THE HYDROXIDES PRESENT IN FORMULA (I) ALLYALKYLETERS, IN WHICH Z, Z, Z AND Z MAY BE HYDROGEN OR RADICAL ALKYL, Z AND Z MAY BE ABLE TO FORM A RING OF 5 TO 6 CARBON ATOMS. IT CONSISTS OF THE REDUCTION REACTION OF THE HYDROPEROXIDES WITH A METALLIC HYDRIDE IN AQUEOUS ALKALINE SOLUTION, TO FORM AN ORGANIC LAYER, WHICH IS SEPARATED UNDER A BLANKET OF INERT GAS AND IS WASHED WITH DEGASIFIED WATER, TRANSFORMING THE CORRELATED HYDROPEROXES. IT HAS APPLICATION IN THE MANUFACTURE OF ETHERS-ALDEHYDE BY FORMILATION CATALYZED BY RHODIUM OF THE CORRESPONDING ETHERS. |
