IT CONSISTS OF THE REDUCTION REACTION OF THE HYDROPEROXIDES WITH A METALLIC HYDRIDE IN AQUEOUS ALKALINE SOLUTION, TO FORM AN ORGANIC LAYER, WHICH IS SEPARATED UNDER A BLANKET OF INERT GAS AND IS WASHED WITH DEGASIFIED WATER, TRANSFORMING THE CORRELATED HYDROPEROXES. IT HAS APPLICATION IN THE MANUFACTURE OF ETHERS-ALDEHYDE BY FORMILATION CATALYZED BY RHODIUM OF THE CORRESPONDING ETHERS.
