AN ACRYLIC POLYMER WITH AN AVERAGE MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF 500 TO 10,000, A HYDROXYL CONTENT OF 2 PERCENT BY WEIGHT AS A MINIMUM; 2 TO 10 PERCENT BY WEIGHT OF A CHAIN TRANSFER AGENT CONSTITUTED OF AN ALKYL METHACRYLATE, A HYDROXYALKYL ACRYLATE OR A HYDROXYALKYL METHACRYLATE. 2. A CROSSLINKING AGENT OF ORGANIC POLYISOCYANATE. STABILIZERS ARE ADDED TO THE ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT OPTIONALLY ANTIOXIDANTS. THE PROCEDURE CONSISTS OF POLYMERIZING A MONOMER SOLUTION IN THE PRESENCE OF A SOLVENT, A CATALYST AND A CHAIN TRANSFER AGENT AT A TEMPERATURE OF 75 TO 150GC FOR A TIME OF 2 TO 6 HOURS. THEN, THE ACRYLIC POLYMER OBTAINED IS COMBINED WITH THE CROSSLINKING AGENT AND THE STABILIZER IN THE ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT.
