PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING A PEPTIDE, ENCODED BY A SYNTHETIC GENE, WHICH CONTAINS CODONS FOR THE AMINO ACIDS OF THE PEPTIDE, REPEATED IN A LINEAR PROGRESSION THROUGHOUT THE DNA MOLECULE, WITH THE SAME POLARITY AND WITHOUT INTERRUPTION. IT CONSISTS IN THE SELF-ASSEMBLY, JOINING AND, OPTIONALLY, REPAIR OF A PLURALITY OF SUITABLE OLIGONUCLEOTIDES. ASSEMBLY IS ACHIEVED BY SELF-COMPLEMENTARY OVERLAPPING OF ENDS AT THE TERMINALS OF THE GROUP OF OLIGONUCLEOTIDES WHICH, ASSEMBLED, CONSTITUTE THE REPEATED UNIT OF THE GENE. |
