PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING A SPIROBENZOFURANONE COMPOUND OF FORMULA (I). IT CONSISTS OF THE REDUCTION REACTION OF A COMPOUND OF FORMULA (II) WITH A METAL BOROHHYDRIDE, SUCH AS SODIUM OR POTASSIUM BOROHHYDRIDE. THE REACTION IS CARRIED OUT IN AN INERT ORGANIC SOLVENT, AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN -70 AND 40 C. THE SEPARATION AND PURIFICATION OF THE COMPOUND IS CARRIED OUT FOLLOWING CONVENTIONAL METHODS. THESE COMPOUNDS HAVE PHARMACOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS FOR THEIR EFFECTS AS INHIBITORS OF GASTRIC SECRETION, ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANALGESIC. |
