abstract | PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING QUINAZOLINES OF FORMULA (I), IN WHICH R1 AND R2 ARE A HYDROXY, METHYL, HALOGEN OR OTHERS, AND R3 A CARBOXYL, CARBOXAMIDE, CYANE OR 5-TETRA-ZOLIL GROUP. AN ANTRANILIC ACID OR ITS ETHYL OR METHYL ESTER IS REACTED, AT A TEMPERATURE OF 60-300C, WITH 6-CHLORONICOTINAMIDE, IN AN ACID MEDIUM, IN A SOLVENT SUCH AS OMO ETHANOL, DIPHENYL ETHER OR OTHERS, AND IN THE PRESENCE OF TRANSFER CATALYSTS OF PHASE. THE MIXTURE EVAPATES TO DRYNESS. IT IS HYDROLYSED WITH AN AQUEOUS SODIUM HYDROXIDE SOLUTION. IT IS PRECIPITATED BY ADDITION OF A MINERAL ACID. THE PRODUCT OBTAINED IS REACTED WITH HEATING, WITH DIMENTILORMAMIDE AND P-TOLUENSULFONIL CHLORIDE IN THE PRESENCE OF PYRIDINE, AND LATER WITH SODIUM AZIDE AND AMMONIUM CHLORIDE IN DIMETHYLFORMAMIDE.
